A remote location has lost contact with the outside world. Competitors must launch a signal line toward a suspended satellite receiver. A successful connection turns the system green and unlocks a professionally engineered zip line.
The competitor then descends across the arena, reaches the emergency zone, and stops the alarm before the two-minute countdown expires.
The challenge rewards accuracy, composure, speed, problem-solving, and determination under pressure.

A remote island research station has lost communication. Emergency support cannot be reached. The alarm is active. The countdown has started.
The competitor must establish a satellite connection, cross the arena, and reach the emergency beacon before the signal is lost permanently.
MISSION PROTOCOL
HOW THE CHALLENGE
WORKS
Execute the 8-step journey from platform entrance to emergency button press. Every phase demands precision, speed, and absolute focus under the clock.
Four competitors enter four elevated communications platforms.
Each competitor secures the lightweight signal rope to the designated base point.
Load the soft grappling hook into the large slingshot launcher.
Aim and fire toward the suspended satellite receiver.
If the hook misses, retrieve it and attempt another launch while the clock continues.
A successful connection changes the receiver from red to green and unlocks the engineered zip-line trolley.
Clip into the supervised safety system and descend across the arena to the lower landing zone.
Exit the landing area, sprint to the flashing emergency beacon, and press the button before the timer expires.
ACCURACY CREATES
THE CONNECTION
The first phase is a timed accuracy challenge. The competitor must launch the soft grappling hook into a large suspended satellite receiver. A successful connection triggers:
- A green receiver light
- A successful connection tone
- An arena-screen confirmation
- Zip-line access
If the competitor misses, the hook can be retrieved and launched again while the countdown continues.

The participant’s grappling-hook rope does not carry their body weight. The successful signal connection only activates access to a separate zip-line system that is permanently installed, inspected, and operated by qualified professionals.

THE EMERGENCY BEACON
After landing, the competitor must exit the controlled release zone and sprint toward the flashing emergency beacon. The beacon resembles a large rotating emergency light with a clearly visible stop button. The timer continues until the competitor strikes the button.
